Spirits, Study, and Bright Futures: WSET Success at Wild Shropshire

It’s been a big month for our drinks team, with two WSET exam passes we’re proud to share.

Our Beverage Director, Joseph Stark, has officially passed his WSET Level 3 in Spirits, achieving distinction in the tasting element. This qualification is one of the most advanced spirits certifications in the industry and reflects Joe’s ongoing commitment to creativity, knowledge, and pushing boundaries, both in the lab and on the drinks menu.

We’re also raising a glass to Poppy, who passed her WSET Level 2 in Wine. She’s played a brilliant role in the drinks service here over the past few months and leaves us with fresh credentials and bright prospects as she heads off to university.

We’re incredibly proud of both, their hard work, curiosity, and passion for flavour are a huge part of what makes the Wild Shropshire experience so special.
