After Great British Menu: Back Home at Wild Shropshire

We were proud to be invited to cook on Great British Menu. It was a long-held dream, and it became something of a marathon.

Wild Shropshire has always been a slow kitchen: fields, ferments and patient preparation. Stepping into a television kitchen brings a very different rhythm, and it was a fascinating experience to work within that world.
We’re grateful to everyone who supported James in the build-up to filming, to the crew, and to the chefs we shared the kitchen with. A great deal was learnt along the way.
If the episode left you curious, the best way to understand what we do is to eat with us here at home. This is where the dishes shine.
