Booking at:

Allergies:

We can cater for Vegan, Vegetarian and all allergies/dietary requirements but we must be notified at time of booking. If not notified until the day of the meal, you may have to miss some courses.

We only have the meat menu available unless another menu is prebooked.

Prepayment:

We require full payment for food at time of booking, however you can get a refund (not within 72hrs of your booking date) if your plans change. Please see the terms and conditions on the booking site. The full tasting menu costs £67 per person.

Menu

There is no menu, the food served on any particular night will be informed directly by what is outside in that moment.

Our phillosophy is to give you many small courses (9-10) the dishes distilled down to their essence, only containing what it needs to. A sample menu can be seen here

Our service is informal, relaxed and fun.

The restaurant opens at 6.30pm for drinks.

Dinner starts at 7pm.

Dinner takes approximately 3 hours. Dress code is casual.

Pre booking of taxis is strongly recommended.

Drinks

We try to tell the same story with our drinks selection as we do our food.

An ever changing selection focussing what we believe to be great at  that time, weighing heavily on natural, organic and biodynamic varieties.

Our wine menu is curated by JoTurner our Sommelier,  with the help of Iron and Rose in Shrewsbury, Tanners in Shrewsbury, Pandemonium in London and Basket Press in London

Alongside our drinks menu we serve a matching wine flight, a premium wine flight, mixed alcoholic  and Non alcoholic flight.

In the last year the restaurant has undergone some fundamental changes. We've added a farm and lab, giving us the ability to grow and preserve everything we serve you. We've also made the move towards being completely sustainable, a slow process but one we're committed to.

You can read about these projects below.

Wild Wine Club

Wild wine club is our wine tasting evenings led by our resident Sommelier Jo.

She'll be leading a guided tasting through selected wines for the evening, the first being an introduction to Natural wine.

Dates and booking are available here

Wild Shropshire book

The Wild Shropshire cookbook is a 200 page overview/recipe book from our time at Ternhill Farm House.

It examines the restaurants ethos, the ideas behind the food and the dishes themselves.

This has been a collaborative effort between myself and the fantastically talented Nat Moore from The Photographers Table.

This is now sold out, however there'll be a Kindle edition released soon.
